What are Nutrients?
Nutrients are valuable materials that food provides which help support the growth and normal functioning of the human body. When taken in appropriate amounts, these nutrients alongside with other bioactive materials present in food helps promote good health and prevents deficiency states. Recent evidence suggests that proper nutrition also play a crucial role in the prevention and delay of diseases that may develop with age, especially heart-related disorders, diabetes, stroke, and cancer.
